[ Via MacsOnly! ] STLEdit is a document-centric subtitling application developed for Apple's Mac OS X 10.4. This latest version introduces a completely re-designed GUI and provides a set of new core concepts; a frame-rate and subtitle format independent subtitling editor, as well a host of new functions and features all designed to make an effective subtitling process on OS X and comprehensive support for SCC closed captioning.
STLEdit provides support for many subtitling formats, including STL, SCC , EBU and QuickTime formats and provides format specific previews panel to control the SCC and STL layouts.
Subtitle files are stored in the format and frame-rate independent XML format (XSTL) and exported to the various supported subtitling's formats in the chosen frame-rate, assigned attributes or preference defaults controlling the format generation.
Using the integrated QuickTime viewer, the menu shortcuts can be used to remote control both viewer and editor thus providing an efficient subtitling process with very few controls needed.
This demo is a fully functional edition except that you cannot save your files (in any of the supported formats). If you need a fully functional time-limited trial license, please contact us at: license@guishen.com
